Yerabuena mine, owned by Consorcio Minero Unido and has made applications of Polymers and Enzymes for its mining roads successfully. Both products offer fringe benefits, the first (Enzymes) stabilizes the soil and has a side effect of dust mitigation. The second (Polymers), whose main objective dust control, an improvement in stabilization as a side effect. The mining company, decided to combine both in its mining trucks which circulate 360 CAT 793 trucks per day (24 hours). The roads are exposed to heavy rainfall and periods of drought.
