Big Stone Road, with traffic ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 vehicles daily, adopted DMS-EC as an alternative to calcium chloride for stabilization and dust control. The product successfully reduced costs, eliminated slipperiness, and withstood heavy rains while maintaining road quality. Due to its effectiveness, the municipality expanded the treatment to an additional 8 km of unpaved roads.

Codelco División Ministro Hales | Chile

Between 2016 and 2018, Codelco conducted extensive dust control trials at its Ministro Hales and Radomiro Tomic divisions. After evaluating over ten global solutions, they selected DMS-DS from ABCDust, a nanopolymer-based additive that achieved 95-98% dust suppression, reduced water consumption by up to 90%, and improved braking distances on ramps by up to 80%.

Codelco División Radomiro Tomic | Chile

In 2018, Codelco’s Radomiro Tomic Division evaluated advanced solutions for dust control on mining ramps with slopes of 15%. ABCDust participated with its DMS-DS solution, previously validated at Codelco’s Ministro Hales division. DMS-DS exceeded expectations, achieving 95-98% suppression of MP 10-2.5 dust, reducing water consumption by up to 90%, and improving braking distance on ramps by up to 80%.

Minera Antucoya | Chile

Minera Antucoya, part of the Antofagasta Minerals group, partnered with ABCDust to implement a real-time monitoring system for MP10 and MP2.5 emissions at their secondary and tertiary crushing plant, responsible for 50% of the mine’s emissions.
ABCDust’s R&D team developed the RedBoxes™ and BlueBoxes™ solutions, integrated with the DMS-ONE™ management platform, to establish a reliable baseline, evaluate improvements, and ensure long-term maintenance. In the short term, Antucoya reduced its emissions by 50-60%, moving toward its goal of a 90% reduction.

Forestal Arauco | Chile
